Working as a professional tattoo artist for the past 23 years in a traditional street shop has been very rewarding and has taught me many things. It has been a long awaited dream to establish my own private studio where I can work on my clients in an enjoyable, relaxed environment. A small intimate space with cool music, your favorite movies and shows, and great conversation.
OPEN SESAME
Life came into focus at the end of 2019, when I realized it was time to set out on my own. Everything seemed to fall into place almost magically, and it was more than fitting that I found my new home in the Practical Magick building in Essex Junction, VT. In February of 2020 Monster Mash was open for business!
NERD CULTURE + FAMLY
I’m an avid fan of Nerd culture, sci-fi, fantasy movies, TV, retro robots, Halloween, ninjas, and of course, all things magical. In short, I’m like a big bowl of sugar cereal on a Saturday morning. And this is fully illustrated by my enthusiasm and energy. I live in a large odd house in Essex Junction with my spooky wife Niki Frankenstein, our dog Dr. Grimsly von Frankenstein, and our three children.

My clients primarily contract with me on larger multi session work. That being said, I truly believe no tattoo is too small in size or significance. My artistic style leans heavily on the illustrative versatility that comes from catering to a full spectrum of tastes over the years. I especially thrive in the realms of traditional American old school, neo-traditional, traditional large scale tribal and neo-traditional Japanese inspired body pieces. I believe in keeping an organic momentum to the creative design process.
