ARTISTS
Jim DuVal
Hi, I'm Jim DuVal! I'm a painter, sculptor, illustrator, warlock, giant robot pilot and part time mad scientist! I've been a professional tattoo artist for almost 30 years; I excel at creating large scale freehand projects that draw from many classic styles of tattooing and art from around the world. I'm a passionate super fan of all things sci-fi, ninjas, pirates, robots, cartoons, movies, comic books and all things fantastic! My artistic style leans heavily on the illustrative versatility that comes from 23 years of working in a traditional street shop environment catering to a full spectrum of tastes. I thrive in the realms of American Traditional , neo-traditional, black work and neo-traditional Japanese inspired body suits. My rate is $200/hour and that begins once I start freehand designing or tattooing. All drawing and design conception off body is not charged at the hourly rate. My process has been cultivated to create an organic design and tattooing experience. I do not design tattoos before the appointment. With this in mind, please make 4 hour appointments for beginning sleeve and back work to give us plenty of time. I do not have a one hour appointment option as I have a two hour minimum. Smaller pieces are redirected to the other artists here who are happy and excited to help you. I look forward to working with you all!
Mary Wrixon
My name is Mary Wrixon. I have been tattooing since 2016! I love doing various styles of tattooing which include fine line, illustrative, bold, neo-traditional, watercolor, black and grey, animal/people portraits, big or small. All tattoos are welcome! I am available for flash designs or custom work. Consults are available either in person or over email; where I guide you through the tattoo process and work together to create your unique design! Book your appointment through my email, tattooswithmary@gmail.com. Include subject matter, size, placement and any reference pictures you may have collected. Reference photos can be examples of work I have done in the past, other tattoo styles or designs that have caught your eye and even references from life. It helps me with the design process and enables me to modify the design to your liking! I look forward to each individual concept and every new client I meet!
Neil "Nine" Brown
Hi, I'm Neil. I've been working with the team at Mash Ink since the end of 2022. After years of consulting in the corporate world, I decided it was time to make art the primary focus of my professional journey. I work primarily out of Lost Valley Tattoo Co. in Elizabethtown, NY, and regularly guest at MonsterMash Ink in Essex Junction, VT. My work is heavily influenced by Traditional Japanese and Neo-Traditional illustration. I draw on my background in fine art and graphic design to approach each piece with thoughtful composition and creative problem-solving. You can book with me by using the booking link below or by directly messaging me through the social media links above. Please allow for up to 48 hours for a response.

Justin Atherton
Hi, I’m Justin, and I’m Jim’s newest apprentice. I’ve been making & showing art for most of my life, and I’m excited to immerse myself in the art of tattooing. I’m a sci-fi, fantasy, animation, history, art, horror, music nerd, and (as a dear friend likes to say) I was raised by she-wolves. My primary focus is American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, and Black & Grey work, but I’m looking forward to learning to work in any style.
